All Water Towers -
have a fungus problem. This is caused by shade under the bowl. Water, (Dew or Rain water), run off underneath and this keeps the mildew moist.
Water Towers present a very unique challenge. The first challenge is of course their size. Working 100-150 feet of the ground is an obstacle that most companies are not equiped to deal with. Second, although they have an enormous vertical work area they are usually confined to a small space of ground, Water Towers are very often placed smack in the middle of a residential area, it's important that the company you hire is sensitive to to the special needs that working in a residential neighborhood requires. This knowledge and ability comes only with experince, the kind of experience Scrub A Home has.
Scrub A Home uses SAH-10, our own patented fungicide solution to achieve this task. Most Water Towers will require two applications in order to insure complete dismantling of the fungus.

The next challenge is cleaning the fungus from the water tower. Cleanup is what Scrub A Home does better than anyone but what is important to note here is cleanup is not enough. In order to do a proper job you have to kill the Fungus and the Spores that are sometimes left behind in normal cleaning process.
