Lafayette, Colorado, (Boulder County) -
wanted an experienced well noted, repuputable company to aid them in their “Historical Renovation Project”. The Local
Governemt found exactly what they were looking for, almost two thousand miles away in Saline, Michigan. Scrub A Home.
The house is one of the original brick houses in Colorado and is very special to the town of Lafayette. The official Title and Historical Landmark is “The Joe Rodwick House”. The job involved removal of several layers of paint. Because of our expertise and Scrub A Home's own “SAH” series of formulas and developed techniques we were able to complete the job in just a few days.
First the brick was soft and the mortar was very old and extremely brittle. A delicate touch was required to be sure not to damage the brick or destroy the integrity of the mortar surrounding the brick. Second houses in this area are all located in very close proximity to one another. Care had to be used not to disrupt the lives of the neighbors that still reside in the adjacent homes.
The neighbors were a bit concerned about the process we would use, but after we took the time to explain the process to them and received E.P.A. approval they were more than satisfied.
Here in this picture, (right), we are about half finished. The two Scrub A Home Technicians (pictured below), brought with them years of experience and professionalism. The local authorities were impressed with their “Customer Relations Management Skills” and the job that they performed.
The city of Lafayette, never thought they would find someone capable and willing to do this job and they were very happy their path led them to Scrub A Home.
